Sprite Submission

Good/acceptable ones will be presented below, and accepted ones will be placed in the library thread...



Unmade Ideas:
-A Ninja (Aegi?)
-A Tik-Tik
-A Fire Breathing Something!
-At least 1 of each current rp race
-Some of the older rp races?

They need to be, .PNG files, and each sprite in a series must be 16x16

Please submit:
A stationary Up looking sprite and 2 frames of it moving,
A stationary Down looking sprite and 2 frames of it moving,
A stationary Left looking sprite and 2 frames of it moving,
A stationary Right looking sprite and 2 frames of it moving,

As many action poses as you want!

I too will be mainly creating brand-new sprites, and I might resprite some of my own Spore creations as well. I think I'll resprite some of the Spore creations made by others, but those will not be common.

On another note, how large will the areas be? I'd like to start creating backgrounds and solid objects for the areas soon, so that information will be very useful.

Hmmm... Make the Objects 16x16 resolution but larger actual image for buildings...

I'll make the areas vary in size depending on how many objects/what size they are... (IE, they may be 100x100 16x16 squares...)

No, just joking, I'd love to have one, but it's not urgent. I'd make them if I could, but I never tried making sprites, so the result would probably be horrendous.

I think that'll be the next one I'll make, but first I'll finish my Aegi. I haven't worked on any sprites for quite some days now, so I'll continue working on my Aegi soon.

First area I'll work on will be the village of my Aegi character. There will, of course, be quite some buildings, and I was wondering: Will we allow the player to enter those buildings, or at least some of them?

For the charecter, i would say a Darkish shaman(The erikixans have a sort of magic)Who has beads and primary weapon(Hand balls)only appears when he attacks And/or a hunter(terra or something)with a cloak and spear! Here they are!Both with and without Outlines(Btw, i only realized this when RE-adding the Outlines for second that the first bunch have a leg problem.)

I'd recommend downloading Paint.net, a free program much like MSPaint but with many more options, like blurring, layering and all kinds of things. It also supports transparency, which MSPaint doesn't, as far as I know.

Btw, I'm sorry for my long absence, I've had quite some things to do for school, have been playing on another Minecraft server lately, played loads of LBP2 and other games, and was quite uninspired for a long time...

yeah, I know I have most problems with feet usually (monster feet are easier since they don't have a specific form )
