Roleplay Lore - The Draton
The Draton
Humes of Enethea
History
The Draton are said to be creations of Daratos, God of Wealth. Unlike Panafor's Elves, the Draton would favour wealth over companions. They were to create a great economy, in which Daratos would be central. However, as the Dhaguran Empire rose, the Draton lost their need for a god, and worship of their creator grew less common. Nowadays, few Draton still actively worship Daratos.
After the creation, the Draton quickly split up in various groups, creating clans that battled over resources for hundreds of years. The Dhagura Clan was the most powerful of them all, and slowly, but surely, it slaughtered all other clans. The Dhaguran Empire was created, which, for the first time in history, united all of Ghezeval, which was later renamed Dhagura.
About 1000 years after the formation of the Empire, the Draton sought to finally expand their empire, and started preparing an invasion on Gaekylha. At first, the invasion seemed to go well, as the Draton conquered village after village. The Dryar Mesas and Worakk were quickly taken. The Aeduri gathered all their forces, and created an alliance with the Bomur, building a giant army. In the Battle of Gridania, the Elves finally defeated the Draton, who retreated to Worakk. The Dryar Mesas was retaken by the Elves, but Worakk remained Draton territory.
A plague ravaged the Draton population in Worakk about 200 years ago. The few survivors fought over the rare medicinal plants found in the area, and destroyed most villages in the process. Only the Fort Rodenburgh was left standing.
Now, the Dhaguran Empire is ready for a new invasion. It has sent more soldiers to Fort Rodenburgh, who are to prepare an attack on the neighbouring provinces.

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
One question, what if your character isn't really a Draton, but a human?

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
Not possible, there are no Humans. The closest thing to Humans are the Humes. The only known sub-races of Humes are the Draton and the Gordnor, so you'll have to chose between them (or one of the Elven races, of course).
Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
If you look at my application, I'm from a different part of the world. My guy would be classified as Draton, but I'm technicly not one of them.

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
Upon re-reading your application, I've come to the conclusion that it is faulty: Akantha is no continent, it is the known world. There are no humans in Akantha, and outside of Akantha, nothing physical exists, rendering the existence of humans impossible.
Also, Frost Fall is a month in the Elder Scrolls, but not here. The location you grew up at is not known, and Tiberius is said to be an ex-legionnaire, right? That means he must have been to Dhagura, where the Empire is based. He was, most likely, born there too, as the Empire shuns outsiders. Hardly any legionnaires leave Dhagura, so your character was, probably, from Dhagura too. And in Dhagura, there are almost only Draton (the few exceptions being a number of dwarves and elves, who almost all live in seclusion).

Oh, oops. I must havew meant something else about Akantha. I was drawing a map the day before you uploaded the information about the world, and I had Akantha as an island. I'll fix the island. Btw, what would be the version of Frost Fall be for thsi world?

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
I'm still working on a calender for the roleplay. I'm thinking of 8 months, with about 40 days per month. That means every season has two months, the 'rise' and the 'fall'.
Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
Frostfall is the third and last autumn month in the Elder Scrolls, so in our roleplay, it would be Red Fall (the second, and last, autumn month).
Where would that island be, actually? If it holds multiple villages, it must be quite large, and other than a few small islands, there is only Aedana north of Gaekylha.

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
It would probably be to the north-west near Dhagura. The distance between the island and the coast would have to be a sea voyage, though. Maybye the island could be a specific area of the world, perhaps? The island's name is Muaranos, by the way.

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
I will upload a map of Enethea as a whole soon. I'll see if I can include your island without changing too much, though I'm afraid an island large enough to house multiple villages might not work.
Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
Oh, If you can't get it up it's fine. But It would be cool to have a snowy tundra-ish area. Wait, has anyone ever read the Ranger's Apprentice series? The island would be like Norgate Fief.

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
Never read it, never heard of it. What's Norgate Fief?
There are loads of snowy areas in Enethea: Worakk (in Gaekylha) is largely covered in snow, and the area to its west, i.e. the northern coast of Dhagura, is frozen all year, too.

Re: Roleplay Lore - The Draton
Well, maybye it could a boggy island (Pine forests in swamps), maybye coastal forests. mountains in the middle, and moorlands. If you turn on the server tommorow, I could help make the island.
