Vivid Forest

Seeing as I can, I am learning java to create a new mod to add in some more trees!

This should be fairly simple, but I may make a server mod for it (would require clientside, don't worry I would run a weekend server to get it working)

My current Idea
VIVID FOREST!

The mod is meant to make more vivid forests, but would convert the entire map into 1 giant forest. So Plains would just be more lightly covered while rainforest and forest biomes would be either as tightly or more tightly packed...
Coloured Trees
These Trees have no added effects.

Cherry Trees
Red-Brown Logs and pink Leaves.

Maple Trees
Orangey tinted leaves and Logs.

Redwood
Red-tinted logs and leaves

Special Trees
These Trees have a little extra effect.

Upside-down Oak
A tree with logs and leaves of a Oak but upside-down. They also grow Upside-down they get planted on the underside of blocks.

Underwater Tree
With trunks of Coral-esque logs, and leaves of Seaweed these trees only grow Underwater.

Burnt Tree
A leafless tree of Burnt logs. It's logs will drop Charcoal when mined with Stone Axe +

Blackleaf Tree
A Grey-Brown logged tree with Black-Red leaves who Double the light they block out.

Cavetree
Grey-Brown logs with faintly glowing Faint Green Leaves (about redstone level). Grow on Stone.

Cloudtree
A rare high altitude tree with Pale Blue logs and cloud White leaves. They however only grow at Y=116+

Ironsap Birch
A tree whose trunk is Birch Logs teaming with Iron bits and with iron-laced Leaves this Fire Proof tree requires a stone axe+ to be cut down and has logs that function as iron ore, not ordinary logs.

Flowery Birch
A Birch with flowers and vines growing around it, they drop Flowers in addition to a birches regular drops.

Apple Trees
A Gnarly logged Oak with Olive Green which Drops Apples and normal Oak drops.

Willow Trees
A Grey-Green Smooth logged tree with Willow like leaves (d'uh) which Drops String and normal tree drops

Cocoa Trees
Browny, trees which drop cocoa beans and normal tree drops!

Icy Pine
Growing on in cold climates, these trees have an iceblock in the core of the leaves.

Singing Spruces
Grow anywhere, their purple-tinted leaves randomly play, random notes of random instruments. (Purpley Logs)

Bigleaf Trees
Similar to oaks, but more limey with brighter logs, these trees leaves decay after being 8 away as opposed to 4.

Joke Trees
These would serve as an added mod/plugin and would be novelty trees.

Spaghetti tree
The mighty Spaghetti tree resembles that of an Oak draped in spaghetti strands.

Pumpkin Trees
Fleshy Green stems with matching Green leaves with Orange flares. This tree grows with Pumpkins on it, but do not grow them later in life.

Floaty Trees
A Purple logged, Cyan leaved helium filled plant which Moves all blocks in a 2 block radius up 8 blocks as it grows.


Please note all these tree drop the correct saplings for themselves. And all the logs become normal planks, unless stated otherwise. All the trees grow on dirt unless stated otherwise.


So anyone want to help me mod this, I need
-Textures
-Yet More Trees
--Snowy Biome and Sandy Biomes especially
-Maybe some other plants... (MAYBE!)

I''m not sure if I help with this or if it's just annoying (either way it's fun), but is there a possibility to create ginormas trees without having to build them.

There needs to be moar than just trees!

Hang Bushes!: Drops Hang Berries, and can be grown as a renewable crop
Berries heal .5 heart.
Berries+Bread+Sugar= Hang-Berry Pie!

Nether Oaks!: They grow in the nether.
Fire resistant
Almost nether-rack logs.
Leaves blood-toned.

Tree Creepers! They live in trees!
Can explode twice.
Do not destroy the enviroment around them.
Need less Darkness than reg. creepers.
Spawn on leaves and logs.
Drop Gunpowder and charcoal.

The creeper idea is only if you can get it to work.

Jorgas, I will think about other plants, but after trees. Also I'm not as confident in making items, so I'm trying to keep them to a minimum

Nether trees, yeah maybe but overworld first.

Tree Creepers... I don't want to make mobs atm... Maybe later...

Yes all trees have the same shape as a regular Oak unless stated otherwise. (so Birches look like birches, Burnt have no leaves etc.)

And You on textures would be epic. If you could just make the textures in a separate .png with the leaves above the relevant logs, that would be brilliant!
