(smiley fail) Comon guys, the forum is slowly dying! We need something awesome to revive it. Why don't we put it on minestatus?
Aeg, if you attracted enough people, you could make a store and make profit, as well as open new possibilities, such as server hosting, and advertising, which would bring in more players(and by the way, this is an idea from me and Notix(Mostly me though Very Happy

)).

Releand, Jorgas and I were playing on a server named abeocraft. It is run by someone named miniimac and he is much like you. It has a really good store, you should check it out here to get some ideas. If this works, we can have a huge influx of new players, and more importantly, good roleplayers.

That'd be awesome! Would be hard to accomplish, though.

What I'd like best is a 24-7 server (with more members, of course), funded by donations by members and admins, though a store like Abeocraft's would be great too! Not sure how we could attract more members, though.

Such a server would have to be a Vanilla or Bukkit server, as servers requiring modded clients attract far fewer members...

It's too bad we don't all have consoles... it would be nice to organize events every now and then for games like Starhawk, or even LittleBigPlanet! I guess we should look into a few more PC games, too (preferably free/cheap, and requiring little RAM, so everyone can play). Any news on Starbound?

Yeah, me and Necro had quite a long discussion in regards to giving this place some TLC and CPR.

We'd definitely need it all server side, and heck if we can get a server up people will come. Even if it's a slow trickle.

Starbound still seems quite far away. As does Cube World and Castle Story. Terraria's good to play through once, but loses it's fun after that. I have a sandbox game in development, but it's still only an early proof of concept.

I may look into server rental, just to see how much they are.

What sort of specs would we be looking for?

Yeah, I did... I'm actually starting to doubt whether or not I should buy it now. It doesn't seem like a particularly big expansion (there are new locations, quests and a new Vampire Lord form, but nothing truly amazing), and Bethesda's way of treating its PS3 and PC customers is starting to annoy me.

I will probably get it, but next time Bethesda does this I will not buy their DLC.

They released info on Dawnguard in March. Then in like May they said the Xbox will get it a month before the PC and PS3. Now they postpone the date for the PS3 and the PC. Seriously.
