Project Madness!
Yes, Yet another thread by me in this section...
As a method to help organise things, I have made this thread. When you want to start a project on the Elithian Server, and need help please post here and request...
Big Projects
I will try and keep the most urgent Projects Here:
Name: Rhahinelm Roads
Info: A vast system of gravel roads connecting all villages and other places of interest. These roads should look somewhat primitive, so no perfectly straight roads!
Also, a few road signs should be placed next to the road.
Starter: Lyiin
Help Needed: People
Specifications of help: Road builders, planners (who decide where the roads will be made).

Info: A large amount of natural-looking rivers spread throughout the world. Villages are likely to be built next to rivers.

Help Needed: People
Specifications of help: River builders, planners and designers.
Small Projects
And lesser ones here:

Info: We should build several ruined buildings, and perhaps even a ruined village, spread throughout Rhahinelm. The village may become a place for bandits, orcs or any other travellers to stay.

Specifications of help: Ruin builders, designers and planners.
Name: Amathea dwarf halls
Info:home of the dwarfs and an underground system of tunnels
Starter: Sataz
Help Needed:diggers, miners & smithies (for axes etc.)
Specifications of help: anyone who wants to help is welcome, diamond pickaxes would be nice and cobble which I already have enough of, 2 stacks of fences and the retractable bridge mod(captainchaos)that's all I can think of for now

Info: The third village, which will be inhabited by Orgon (A new ogre-like race). It will be completely underground and carved out of the rocks.
Starter: Lyiin.

Specifications of help: Could use some people to build some houses according to my design, and could use some people to think of decorations for the village.

Info: A farm for Hellendale village (The Hy'ui village)

Info: A Christmas tree in Mjzore! (the Hybrid Village)

Specifications of help: Need People and resouces to make a Christmas tree with a 5-clock pulser for the lights!

Info: I'm planning on making a Metal smelting paradise, next to my home and wish to connect it up to the mines in the forest...

Name: Hellendale village
Info: The second village in our server. It will be inhabited by Hy'ui. The houses in this village will use both wood and stone and there will probably be roads of stone as well. If possible, it will be built on a hill with a river flowing down.

Shouldn't we make it that everybody can suggest projects here, and they have to wait for the OP's approval.

Im currently working on the first project, but I need the iron blocks...

Great... Count me as in! I'll give ya a hand...
Also you know that the server runs quicker when everyone is close together? Less Chunks need to be rendered... So these projects will help make the server run quicker!

Nice! But it would have to be very long, so maybe it wouldn't be very esthetic if the design was kept like that.

How about having the bridge wider, so you could have 2 minecart rails in the middle and two walkways on the sides. like, 4 cubes would be would be walkway blocks, and anouther 2 would be the railway bloks

We do not need the minecarts... We have the ERTN...
Unless you wanna be post and ride around powered by a powered minecarts!

I have moved all old projects to the archive in this post (spoiler at the bottom), we will now start using this for the new roleplay server.
Before we open the roleplay to new members, we will have to make our server look even better, so please post your ideas here!

Hmm... There are no keys in Minecraft... However, wooden doors can be locked using a password, and that password could be written on a sign at the end of this dungeon. Would the dungeon be tall and as such, closer to the ground, or would it be flat and, possibly, entirely above the cloud layer? Also, do you have any pictures, be it simple sketches or a reference image, of what you will try to build? Creating such a thing from scratch won't work very well, I think.
Last of all, where would this City of the Gods be located? What will it look like? How large will it be?

@aegonian I don't have any sketches of anything yet... for now I only have the idea, but I'll let you know via PM (and everyone else in the loop for that matter) when I got something.
Have to say I am inspired by zelda like dungeons. the one in the minish cap was cool, but not very good looking.

Zelda dungeons are great indeed, but they are hard to rebuild in Minecraft...
