Space Engineers - our next game?

I'm not sure if any of you have seen this game yet, but I was sold almost immediately:

Basically, it's the same kind of game as StarMade, but a lot prettier, more advanced, and with more things to do. The game is still in development, but is should be available on Steam Early Access. I can see this becoming our next big multiplayer game!'

That looks very interesting, I'll definitely look at that one. I still have a lot of birthday money left (as usual).

Does it have working multiplayer yet?

If it does there is a good chance I'll pick it up soon.

I'm not sure - many of the videos feature multiple astronauts and/or ships, which suggest that there is multiplayer going on, but I haven't seen any confirmation of it yet. I'll dig around a bit to see if it's functional yet!

All comedy relief aside, I saw the game on steam and thought it would be another one of those boring "space repairing simulators" like alpha moonbase, or whatever.

Guess it comes to show, don't judge a book by it's cover.
More interestingly, life has been recently and frequently trying to teach me another lesson: A lot of the time, something that you don't like the look of at first can actually be one of the most amazing things you have ever discovered.

Too bad multiplayer isn't in the current build yet... Apparantly, they're looking into using a system with player-hosted servers, so once it's done, we should be able to set up our own server!

I've seen this game a while ago, and would've made a post about it if I hadn't posted about Starmade :I

It looks beautiful so far, there's a lot of potential in this!

There certainly is! I've been watching a couple of videos of this game - let's plays, creation spotlights etc - and you can really build some amazing ships in this game! Even the interior can look great, though I do hope more interior walls will be added, as well as some furniture or something.

Poor starmade, just coming out and whabam, waddeyeknow, a clean, high graphics rival comes out. Seriously, bad timing.
