Brave New World does change the game a lot, but I think that both of the expansions just changed the later game. Gods and Kings only starts up primarily at the Renaissance, which is the end of the early game.

Also I'm back and I should be good to play from tomorrow. The question I'm asking myself is Ethiopia or Aztecs...

What is some civ that controls half of the delegates embargos you? "trollface"

If another civ has more delegates than you as venice, you're not doing it right.

If everyone hates you in Civ and you're not a warmonger, you're not doing it right.

If you're against AI's trade with as many different civs as possible. They won't go to war with you if the trade routes that would break would ruin their economy.

We still haven't finished our multiplayer game on Elithia!

I'll have a one week vacation next week, and although I'll have to do a fair bit of homework during that vacation, I should have enough time to play some multiplayer games with you guys. We could try and resume our Civ game, do some work in Minecraft, set up an OpenTTD game, or maybe a StarMade server!

Share the map on Steam Workshop, you mean? You'll first have to take it into the Civ V ModBuddy (it's in the SDK too). It's been a while since I last used it, but there should be an option to create a map pack. Adding your map to it should be quite easy - just look up a quick tutorial online, and it'll done in no time.

I haven't actually uploaded anything to the Steam Workshop yet, so if you want to make it public, you'll have to find an online tutorial for that. If you only want to share it with select people, you can just upload the map file (should be a .civ5map file) somewhere, and have people install it on their computers.

Alright, I think it would actually make a good map for the Steam Workshop. However, I'm not sure if it's balanced, and if I randomize the resources, it doesn't seem like it's putting in enough resources.

Have you shared the map on Steam yet? I wouldn't worry too much about resource placement - the random locations usually work quite well. I used it for all of my maps, and I've never had a problem with their locations or amounts.

Have you guys played StarMade yet? It took me a while to figure out exactly how to build effective ships, create factions, spacestations etc, but once you can build all that stuff, it's a lot of fun! If we were to start a server with two opposing factions, that would be awesome!

EDIT: How about a StarMade version of the FNE Roleplay? In the roleplay, everyone starts with a single ship, and has to gradually rebuild their civilization - much like how you start from scrap in StarMade. Everyone would be allowed to build a single ship - possibly the one they already use in the FNE Roleplay - after which everyone must start salvaging asteroids, planets, abandoned stations etc. The two factions could be the FPE and a new faction - any ideas? The Theleans would be way too overpowered to use in StarMade, so we'll need something else...

EDIT: Totally, you should, uh, go for like, um, the Xorg. Yeah that would be cool. New Elithian Order vs The Xorg or something? I dunno...

I'll try and get onto Steam a bit more often again!

The Xorg could work as the second faction - but how large are their ships, on average? If they're comparable to average Alliance ships, it should be fine. The reason for the Theleans to be unfit is the gigantic size of their ships - fighters the size of frigates, destroyers the size of dreadnoughts etc.

I've already started planning out the Prevox, btw. If I keep to the plans, it will be 92 meters long, 22 meters wide, and 28 meters tall.

I've finished building the Prevox, and will share some screenshots with you soon! It stands at just over 90 meters long, with very powerful shielding, lots of thrusters, two main laser-based weapons, and two salvage ray cannons. It also has a turret on top, and is able to dock a small repair drone inside its cargo hold.
