So Scii is quite much like large parts of Elithia's mainland! Does Scii also have other biomes?JorgasElite wrote:Nice, temperate world with green grass and trees with idyllic ponds and clean, metal chrome-like metal buildings... Thats my paradise
Stabound is set for release during the summer this year, right?
Re: What's up with the silence?
It's pretty much temperate, cloud forest mountains and Tropical Beaches.
Athana is a big swampy pine forest like place almost completly covered with ocean, and is almost always raining and has many volcanoes.

Re: What's up with the silence?
Scii seems like a planet the Aegi would enjoy! How large is Scii, actually?
Did you know that Thelea, the Thelean homeplanet, was actually a swamp planet before a Ventronian attack devastated it? The original Theleans (the small, red, limbless things covered in thin tentacles) were somewhat slug-like, and thrived in their homeworld's humid climate.

Oh I would have to make Tikia. That was the beach/tropical paradise planet.
Also I will be resuming my "not on forum" status, imminently. I still have my exams to study for...
Also http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/32x-dark-matter-mass-effect-inspired/
Would that do for an Elithian Texture Pack?
Re: What's up with the silence?
Well, the server is not really creative mode, so...
The texture pack is very good though, good find!

Re: What's up with the silence?
The Tarklon are currently living on a swamp/jungle sort of planet. However, their homeplanet was dominated by mountains and deserts, with large oases here and there.
Also that texture pack looks good.
I really need to be more active...

Well, when I said I prefer any, I was saying That I prefer all of them over the tentacle world. I simply made a mistake during the time typing due to a distraction in the real world ,at said time of typing which caused me to lose a word or two.Ryiin Taemera wrote:Necromancer, you can't say that you prefer any world. To prefer means that you like one (or more) specific thing(s) better than (an) other thing(s). Yes, that's right, Ryiin's back.
Re: What's up with the silence?
I know that pack, it's great! I actually used some of its paintings as placeholders for the updated Mine Effect pack, but chose not to use it because it would be far harder to update (32x32 textures are much harder to make, especially when having to use the same style for all blocks). It does, however, feature textures that are way better than the Mine Effect ones... we could try building some stuff in Creative using this pack soon.
Re: What's up with the silence?
I think for Starbound, we should try to get a world with something we will all agree to. What I mean is, we need to vote for what type of world we want as our main world. Most likely it'll be temperate/forest though.

Re: What's up with the silence?
Temperate forest world seems to fit most races: it is one of the natural biomes for Aegi and Jorgasians, and the Tarklon and Notix also seem capable of surviving in it (according to their description, the Notix' preferred temperature is about 30 degrees, though they can survive temperatures of as low as -200 degrees). Trinks will also be able to survive there, and any other Elithian or Hyrolian species too.
I hope a beta of Starbound will be made available soon!

Yay someone actually remembers Notix lore!
The joy of a cold planet is a lack of competition and it's easier to warm up than cool down. (You can only remove so many layers of clothes, you can add any number!)

That actually makes sense, Thunderpants.

Hell I'll be honest. I have great difficulty remembering both yours and Jorgas's races.
Yes even though Jorgas has Jorgasians.
Re: What's up with the silence?
Thunderpants, that's the reason I named them Jorgasians. So you wouldn't remember...

Who are you again?
Re: What's up with the silence?
It's just that there is little information available on the Erikixians (so I keep forgetting about them ), and of course, they are less present in the roleplay than most other species...kingnecromancer wrote:Aegonian wrote:Temperate forest world seems to fit most races: it is one of the natural biomes for Aegi and Jorgasians, and the Tarklon and Notix also seem capable of surviving in it (according to their description, the Notix' preferred temperature is about 30 degrees, though they can survive temperatures of as low as -200 degrees). Their bio in the AED says they can easily adopt to most environments, so I guess they too can survive on a temperate forest world.
I might post some information on the various Aeginian races (they are one species, but there are various races) soon. They are far more diverse than humans, and the differences between races sometimes cause internal problems. The Aegi generally don't report any news on internal struggles to other species, which is why I've never posted about internal problems in the RP.
Re: What's up with the silence?
*Tattoos the word Erikixians into eyelids to remember them. Forgets you can't see insides of eyelides. Entire event futile.*
Re: What's up with the silence?
There is absoulutly no way for you to remember...
