Anyway, I might add a small starting room to build off of. Technically becoming the smallest faction HQ in the RP Very Happy

I am not sure why, but I have a serious longing for a post-apocalyptic RP again. My god, I just want to run around in a city full of players scavenging and fighting an cooperating and trying to survive. That would be awesome.

If you look hard enough, you can see New Frostholm on the whole map. It's not that hard. But I can't seem to find Chard. (JK)

I've set up a new poll with just the top 5 names of the previous poll. Let's start voting again!

Nordskog is easily visible, and Tradjord can be seen if you look closely, but Haligtrad can't. But then again, Haligtrad only has a single tower above the surface, and its entrance is hidden behind a cliff.

Also, the server will be back online soon (10-20 mins). I'm currently rendering the server map in mcmapDZ again, which takes a while...

If you're done building your city, you could start writing a couple of lore books, and store them in a library or so. Using BookPress we can also copy them, so if you want to, your book can be displayed in the libraries of all of our cities.

BocajXIV and Werdna_I have been banned from the server for attempted terrorism of New Frostholm. They put a ton of TNT below the mansion, not including others that might be hidden. They'v been removed though.

Did you just manually remove it?

Or did you create a worldedit select of 200x256*200 around teh city and do
//replace 46 0 ?

Can someone check Chard for me?

We removed everything we saw manually, then used //replacenear to remove any TNT left within a 100-block radius. The command didn't change any blocks, so it's unlikely there is any more TNT. I'll check Haligtrad and Chard the next time the server is online.

I'll also look for a TNT-disabling plug-in, and install it before I put the server back online.

When they put down the TNT, I was gone for about 5 minutes so it's unlikely that there will be any. Sorry about this, just don't let them back on.

The server is online again! I have installed a plug-in that prevents explosions from Creepers, TNT, Withers etc from damaging the terrain, without disabling their visual effects. Endermen can no longer pick up or place blocks either.

I just checked the last render I made using mcmapDZ, and discovered that both New Frostholm and the Erokki city had been griefed Aegi angry

From the looks of it, the damage was done using TNT... I tested the CreeperControl plug-in I installed, and it worked fine, so the damage must have been done before it was installed.

I will have a look at the back-ups I made, and revert the world to the most recent non-griefed back-up. I'll also delve into the server log a bit more to see who was online at the time. From what I've seen so far, only me, Polarnik and Jorgas have been on the server since Bocaj and Werdna were banned. Do mind that I have only skimmed through the log so far.

At what time did this happen, if you can find it at all? Because I was gone most of the day, and was watching a show from about 8-10 PM Eastern Time.

The griefing happened somewhere between 22:54:26 and 23:16:44 on the third of February (yesterday). Note that the times are GMT+1, so I think it was around 4 or 5 PM where you live (not sure what timezone you're in).

I've downloaded MCEdit and am copying the two affected cities from the back-up into the current world. Just to be sure, please check if everything is in place the next time you log on to the server.

EDIT: The server is online again. Everyone, please check if your cities are as they should be again. I think I have fixed everything I could see on the render, but I might have missed some minor things. I doubt any cities other than New Frostholm and the Erokki City were affected, but just in case, you should check if everything is in order.

EDIT2: Apparently, the two buildings near New Frostholm (the house and stables) were on fire. Whoever tried to grief the server wasn't aware of the fact that firespread was disabled Razz

Wait, so we know almost exactly when, but not who?

Or was it indeed Bocaj and Co?

Also, how badly was the Erokki city damaged? Was it just a few holes in the rooftops?
Because if so, I did that a long time ago, to make some coolness. If not, then we have a problem.

It was probably Bocaj using Jorgas' account (his own account was already banned). I'm certain the damage was done using Jorgas' account, but I'm also sure it wasn't actually Jorgas himself. After all, there's no reason for him to blow up his own city, and the way the griefer talked (and made spelling mistakes) wasn't like Jorgas.

The damage was pretty big: an entire street had been blown up, and the market stalls were on fire. I replaced all affected chunks with the chunks from a recent back-up, so everything should be fine now. The palace wasn't bombed, as far as I know.
