Nice! I've downloaded the OtherDrops plug-in, which allows us to set custom drops for both mobs and blocks. I'll install it soon, after I've set up the custom drops.

OK, so in case we need a back-up plan if the current RP fails, me and Notix have been talking about some ideas for a roleplay:

Shattered Globe:

A world that lies in economic and enviromental crisis, this roleplay takes place in a scary, near-future.
The world is divided into 5 main groups:

The UED -(LEADER NEEDED, PREFERABLY AEGONIAN)- :

The main faction, could be considered the "good" guys. They are remnants of the world striving for peace and co-operation. Members are almost everyone not included in the other groups. Main Problems: Economy In Crisis, Increasing Heat, Pollution, Fragile

The Asian Coalition -(LEADER NEEDED)- :
They strive to take over the world with economic might. They are doing pretty well at that.Mainly, Russia, China, Korea (Now unified under North Korea), India, Bangladesh, Mongolia. Japan is part of the UED and therefore not in this group. Main Problems: Over Population, Starvation, Increasing Heat, Pollution.

The Tested And The Damned -(CLAIMED BY THUNDERPANTS)- :
These are Species of great apes that have evolved due to radiation from constant nuclear warfare near high-tech research-centres. They understand the cultures of the other governments, and disagree with them. Main Problems: Under-Population, Pockets of Anarchy, Savaged Lands.

United Robot Coalition -(LEADER NEEDED)- :

Shortly after the first sentinent A.I was developed in [DATA EXPURGED], outrage sparked all across the globe. And if the current situation was not bad enough, this was enough to cause riots everywhere. The United Robot Coalition strives solely for the right to exist in a world on the brink of self-destruction. They founded their city, Alpha-One, In the sierra desert. Main Problems: Dependency on Resources, Under-Population, Hated by World, Savaged Lands.

Ultimate Antartican Sovreignity -(CLAIMED BY KINGNECROMANCER)-:

A nation of scientists, the UAS is feared and hated. Their urge to strive in the harshest conditions on earth has made them a tough, powerful empire.
Sadly, they live on the Continent with the least resources in the world, forcing them to invade others. Currently in the process of taking southern africa and america. Main problems: Dependency on Resources, Under-Population, Increasing Heat, Hated by World, Isolation.

We could use this as a forum based rp so we can get it started without MC then if the current RP fails we can use this?

Also Antartica has Oil.

Maybe the URC should remain non-player driven? So we can't have permanent peace?

How about we remove this from Earth? Put it on a similar planet but with different landmasses, so that we can be more creative, not become land locked with new players, (Always new places to be discovered.)

I like the idea of having it on a different world, because it allows more creativity and flexibility of the factions. But I'm pretty sure that will never happen, because this roleplay will probably work.

Also how do we go about bridging the linguistical barrier between the Tested and the Damned and the other factions?

Multiple posts of Ook-Ook Oook, Ook... Ook. Don't make for good RP'ing. Perhaps the Testutans (Mutated Orangutans) have the ability to read and write and understand verbal English, but not speak it. (Might also be interesting for an ability if this became an MC RP.)

I'm not really a fan of post-apocylptic myself. Except for Fallout 3/New Vegas, they just made it right. '

But I would like there to be an Eco faction. Maybe they would have little funds and resources, but decent population and greener land. (Less disasters)

I wouldn't say this all Post Apocalyptic. I mean places like the area in which the Tested and the Damned reside (I may end up calling them Testutans?) vary from soot filled jungle, to nuclear wastelands, to Radioactive green jungles and the ruins of a city now overgrown but still housing nuclear deposits.

You could compare that to the UAS who have an artic home untouched by nuclear warfare.

OK I derped again.

This would work perfectly. I was thinking that you meant multiple planets, but I did not like that.
But hey! One world.

It should be slightly bigger then earth, so to have more land to build on. Maybe 1.2 times the size?

Earth is pretty big enough I think.

If we made more and smaller landmasses than it would work, especially if we shrunk oceans down a tad.
