Do you know if there's a plug-in already that disables Anvil durability?

I'd like to try and start the roleplay soon, but there's a couple of things that have to be done first:
- We need to know exactly what plug-ins to use, and we have to configure all of them. We should make a list of all the suggested plug-ins, so I can set up a poll, and we can choose what plug-ins we'll use.
- Part of this is a clear list of all the advantages and disadvantages of all the races.
- We need to ensure that all cities are done for the roleplay.

I'll edit as much info as I can into this post. At the time of writing I am short of time.

Races:
Pyrork:
+ Fire and Lava Immune
- Weak to Water, Rain, and Snow (Possibly Snowballs)

Aettir:
+ Increased Bow Range (higher force), Less Fall Damage and Higher Jumps.
- Weak to Fire and Lava. Increased damage from melee

Calxite:
+ Less damage from Melee, Can eat Charcoal, Coal, Redstone and Glowstone (I tweaked it slightly Lunark. You where majorly UP'd.)
- More damage from Pickaxes, Can only eat Charcoal, Coal, Redstone and Glowstone

Eroxxi:
+ Fortune
- Slowed Mining

Icecarls:
+ Magic (WHAT SORT?)
- Less Melee Damage

Brimnûr
+ Night Vision
- Blindness in Sunlight.

Plugins:
TheaRP (Custom for the Server., made by one of my Minions/Friends.)
CustomDrops
WorldGuard/Towny?
BookPress

Cities:
Chard (Pyrork Capital) - DONE
Brunt Belt (The Southern Mountains) - No where near
Haligtrad (Aettir Capital in the Northern Forests) - DONE
New Frosthelm (Icecarl Capital)
Misthook (Icecarl Farming Village)

Notes
Most races are 1:1 for +:-. Except the Aettir. Fixed.
We need to add landmarks to the map.
What magic does Jorgas want? I had an idea to bind it to certain Written Books. So that you can duplicate it with the BookPress and each has there own lore etc. But what spells?
What is Jorgas's Races name? Icecarls
We need to tweak the map and add more flavoursome locations.
We need an up to date map so we can do above.

My race is called the Icecarls fyi.

Add New Frostholm as a city in the Frostholm Tundra. Along with small farming village called Misthook on the Evergreen River.

Jorgas, what sort of magic will your people use? Also, is your city nearly ready for the roleplay?

I also added some more info to your post, Notix:
- Added another weakness to the Aettir for improved balancing. I might also add decreased damage damage done with melee.
- Added Haligtrad to the cities list

Some suggestions:
- The Brimnur seem a bit under powered to me: Night Vision is useful, but is only slightly better than turning brightness all the way up. How about we give them decreased fall damage, too? Like the Aettir, they live in caves, in which falling from high places is common.
- We could introduce minor differences in the movement speed of all races. I would suggest:
- Erokki: 1.3 (they have to cover great distances, and have little positive attributes)
- Brimnur: 1.2 (as assassins, speed is essential)
- Aettir: 1.1 (my archers are constantly on the move to ensure that we stay out of melee range)
- Icecarls: 1.0
- Pyrorks: 1.0
- Calxites: 0.9 (they are made of stone, after all. If we do this though, we will probably have to give them another (minor) benefit though)

I think that the Erokki already have a huge upgrade with the permanent Fortune. All you have to do is find like 4 diamond ore and bam, you pretty much have twice as much. It would be way too easy for them to get ahead of us. Just lower their speed to 1.2 or something.

My city is not ready yet, I'll work as hard as I can now. And it's supposed to be the player's town, so there won't be much in there to start with. I think I could need maybye a week for the town and other stuff.

Well I honestly think that you will be OP with fortune. You could so easily get so much resources and be so much more powerful very quickly. And then plus extra speed to add to that, you could so easily get away from anyone chasing and evade. With all of this added up it would be very hard to stand up to you. Except for maybe a legion of Pyrorks and a Battlemage. Very Happy

We could not use fortune but instead tweak the customdrops for Eroxxi so that they are much better at scavenging rarer drops.

I think Thunderpants' solution would work the best in this case: it gives the Erokki a good advantage over others when mining, but without providing them with double the resources.

We also need a name for the world, and we need to think abut the spawn: will all people spawn at the current spawn location (near the village), or will we try to set a spawn for every faction? If we choose the first, we will need more roads leading to all the cities (currently, there are only a road to Haligtrad, and a road to the Erokki airships).

I now finally have my schedule for the coming weeks, and it seems I'm going to be very busy with my education. I will try to put the server online as often as I can, but I might not always join myself.

@Sataz: If you can build some more the coming week, the Brimnur might still make it into the RP. We still have quite a couple of things to do before the RP starts anyway. For example, we still have to write the recruitment threads for the MC Forums, which will probably take a while.

Maybe let the Brimnur start out living in other factions? Then unite them later under your banner. You could make it part of their culture waiting for their king.

@Jorgas: I think we should build the forts in the roleplay. If you have the time though, you could start choosing locations for your future forts, and set up a basic foundation (cut some trees, place some gravel/stone patches)

As it'll probably be a while until anyone is coming online anyway, I'm temporarily taking down the server again. During this downtime, I will update the server to 1.4.7 (there is now a recommended build for it, while we had been using a 1.4.6 Beta Build), and possibly install some new plug-ins. Which reminds me: as all plug-in suggestions are a bit scattered throughout the thread now, everyone should list all their suggested plug-ins in one of their next posts. I will add them to a poll somewhere, so we can chose which ones to use.

EDIT3:
The server is back up again. I updated the server itself to 1.4.7 (so you can now update your clients), and Guilds has also been updated to the newest version. Courier and Bookpress have also been added, as both were updated to work with the 1.4.7 recommended build.
