I think we could try a Feed the Beast server (Like a prettier Tekkit).

We need to though try and keep any "friends" of members who aren't members as company employees/partners though.

That and we need a goal. Or some friendly rivalry!

So what your saying is we need like for example;

Notix and Co selling Melons, competing with Jorgas and Co selling Pumpkins.
But with Notix and Co and Jorgas and Co being supplied by the Taemara Brothers Inc. who are competing with Necro Ind. for the sales.

Just picking 4 People at random there.

If we waited for Feed the Beast to get into a better state (Redpower and EE are missing atm as far as I'm aware) you could be a Mystcraft/Twilight Forest/EE Wizard.

Feed the Beast has Thaumcraft 3. So I would use Thaumcraft3/EE/Mystcraft. Among other things that are not considered fully science.

I just feel the server should actually be RP and or we actually work together! I don't know we build a giant dwarven Stronghold or something but we actually work together and not just play single player on the server.

I'm quite liking the idea of a Dwarf Fortress style server. Where everybody works together for the greater good of Dorf kind. That and a need for Beer (Mushroom Soup) or Potatoes as food. Just make a world in worldpainter for the huge caverns, and some epic mountains. We could have different people play different roles. Armoured Defenders, Miners, even book keepers to check stores! Mushroom farmers, Potato farmers everything!

Perhaps run a mod for explosive coal veins (which exists) or maybe one to spawn tougher mobs! (Especially an on-death zombie spawning one) I don't want to be killed by an unarmed zombie, I want them all clad in iron and gold!

Maybe even run 2 factions, Dwarves and Elves and have them siege, trade and communicate with one another.

BUT that's just me.... Razz

I personally think Feed the Beast Roleplay Dwarf Fortress random mod combination would be good. I could supply you with candles and alumentums and stuff like that. Of course I could make better Thaumcraft 3 equipment for you, but that's pretty expensive.

Did you not comprehend what we just talked about? It would basically be communism. You don`t do anything for yourself. You get things issued to you. You don´t have money, or at least we all get issued the same amount. It's not pretty expensive because the stuff the miners get would be sent to you if you requested it (Feeding out ideas here).

Trust me, when I mean expensive I mean a lot of the stuff is HARD TO GET. You really need to devote to Thaumcraft or else there's no point. I used up my stack of random gems just researching stuff.

I think we really need to get something going. We could create a thread on the minecraft forum, several threads in fact, and get some publicity. I recall that we did obtain a few good members from the last time we did this (Sataz, Lunark I believe). I think the reason all our roleplays die is because there are never enough people on due to our different timezones.

My idea is all the active people currently on our forum (5/6 of us?) will create a faction and a faction thread, which will all be connected to the main page. We will become the faction leaders and we would have members in each faction that we recruited from the forums, and bam, community. And as long as we stay active, fighting the good fight, advertising, that seedling of a commnity will grow. And one day, The Elithian Alliance will become the great forest it once was.
