I just stick to EE, quarries and the engines.
Electricity is boring/too tricky.
The redstone stuff is just logic.
Forestry was nice...

I will learn how to use ComputerCraft though. Might be nice to have real ATM's. I could rig up a huge test facillity, and then monitor it and control it remotely... Might make a nice way to toughen up adventurers...

Now if only Tekkit had cameras and deadly neuro-toxins.

The Japs with Mechs? They're not your concern. It's when other people steal/upgrade the mechs!

Imagine China with mechs? They may not be as good but they have greater numbers.

The worrying thing for me, is when any country Britain has ever conquered (and is resentful of it) get a hold of them....

Oh that's ALL of them, except Australia.

True. I bet UK is all safe in its small island. which in civ 5, even on huge setting, is still only 3 hexes big. XD

So you're wondering why Britain is powerful? The netherlands and England used to fight for certain parts of America (mainly United States). we're not even a fourth of GB...

I will start watching videos of people playing tekkit, it seems like fun.

So yeah, I will be learning some Lua to make automated stuff!

It might be cool if we all started our own "industry" and then help each other by supplying goods.

So for example someone sets up a power company and them helps power someone else's mining industry.

Yeah, but you may need to keep the wiki open.

You although you can use TMI/NEI and press R over the items to get their recipes.

I could do a Basic Guide though.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to host a Tekkit server... I want to be able to run the server and client on the same computer, but I have too little RAM for that...
The wiki says the server can take up to 3GBs of RAM, and this computer has 3GBs of RAM, so I don't think it will run very smoothly...

Anyone else able to host a Tekkit server? Once I get a laptop (I'll go for at least 8, perhaps 16 GB RAM), I'll be able to host it, but this computer is just not powerful enough.

I can run a server, as long as we stay away from nukes. I have tried before.

I tried to host a server once. Didn't go too well, it was real laggy and I actually messed something up on my first attempt. Messed up huge... So... Yeah.
