Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
well, it is also possible to fly, if your armour is weak enough... if you get attacked by a giant you'll be dead, but you'll also be flying to heights unknown to man!

That's probably an intentional bug. If a giant hit you with his tree, what would you do? Fly up in the air?

Will you just see fog or no?
Also, today marks the week of jorgas not talking! Lets see how long jorgas can resist form posting!

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
I've never been launched by a Giant (weaklings can hardly touch me), but I have been sent to a great height by Meridia once. From the place where I spoke to this Daedric Prince, I was able to see almost all of Skyrim, so if you're launched by a Giant, you'll probably see more than just fog (though your screen will be reddish an blurred, because you just got killed).
I found another backwards-flying warping Dragon, but was able to kill it this time. While it was stuck in the air, I shot it using Ice spells, but when its health dropped to zero, the dragon didn't crash down: It remained in the air for some time, and then it was launched up into the atmosphere, never to be seen again.
Also, I have now enchanted my armour to give me 0 Magicka cost for all Destruction spells. Now I can spam thunderbolts and fireballs! (Strangely enough though, spamming spells deals only little more damage than just using my sword or bow...)

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
I was level 5 when that happened, lol. I eliminated the guards and People of Falkreath (well... most of them revive for some reason) because I attacked a Thalmor justicier. The other one I met tried to kill me because I told him men should be free to worship whoever they want...
Anyone know why everyone is allowed to attack you, but you're not allowed to attack even a chicken roaming near a village?

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
Not everyone is allowed to attack you, as far as I know. Bandits and the likes are always attacked by guards, in my game. There seem to be some glitches involved in this matter, though: there are reports of hired thugs attacking the player, where the guards actually assist the thugs.
Strangely enough, the Thalmor send Justiciars to kill me every now and then, while Ondolemar, a Thalmor agent in Markarth, likes me for helping him rule out Talos worship.
I dislike the fact you have to join the Blades, and fight the Aldmeri Dominion. Why would any Elf join the Blades, especially when he/she thinks Mer are indeed superior to Men?

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
I was going to post something better than this, but then (here it comes) my internet connection failed
anyway, I will destroy all of Thalmor kind! (a top comment of a youtube video asked for an expension where you'd go to war with the Thalmor and kill them once and for all:)) because of their arrogance they deserve to die. feel free to oppose me, however I will not change my mind.
You don't want to join the blades because you think mer are superior to men? weren't the blades a group of dragonslayers? if that were (still) the case, wouldn't you want to join them? Or do you prefer to be a vagabond? Going through life alone and staying anonymous for the rest of your life?

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
You don't have to join the Blades genuises. You just assist them. And you could be against the Thalmor if your an elf AEGONIAN, the Blades don't like the Thalmor, but who cares.
Also, My guy is a bit awkward. ARGONIAN, Steel Plate armour (Flawless and enchanted), 248ish protection (not enough lol), Glass Sword (Flawless, enchanted), Dragon Priest Helm (Flawless), and about the oddest assortment of doo-dads. And my companion (forgot his name) has a set of Flawless Steel Plate and a Glass Dagger with a medly of Staves. Stir for 15 minutes then add a sprinkle of manganese. Continues stirring until it apears to be poisoned. Now, dump the cake mix in the oven, and set it to 9000 degrees (Farenheit). Enjoy your new DEATH Cake today. Put on Chocalate glaze with jimmies for extra enjoyment! GO AWAY, I'M WORKIN' ON A SPECIAL STATE OF MIND CALLED THE CHEESESTICK!

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
I found a great way to reduce the lag on the PS3 (I play on PS3 too, I have always preferred the consoles) that occurs when a large amount of enemy NPCs are fighting you and your Imperial (or Stormcloak) 'friends' in one of the forts: Use the fully-powered Storm Call shout. It eliminates every mortal NPC within five seconds (that includes your allies, though). I do not advice using it in cities though: you are quite likely to kill every citizen who dares leaving his or her house...
Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
My friend Bocaj would like that.

No. I'm not saying what his name is, of course, but his online name is Bocaj. Also, he just bragged about having full dragon-scale armour. Show-off. He's litteraly lvl 27. He leveled up 10 ranks in about 3 days. -_-

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
My guess is that his real name is Jacob.
I have Dragonscale armour too, it is disappointingly easy to make: Just level your Smithing to 100 (this can be done in half an hour), kill two or three dragons (I killed more than 50 when I reached Smithing level 100), and you've got your armour. I was even more disappointed when I found out that there are no Dragonbone or Dragonscale weapons.

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
Half an hour? Real players don't repeatedly make their skill go up, they actually play the game. Honestly, Dragon Armour dosn't look that good. Daedric is better.

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
I usually don't try to level up very quickly: It took me many hours to get to Smithing Level 100 on my main character. And yeah, Daedric looks better, but I dislike heavy armour. Perhaps if I had used heavy armour from the very beginning, I would have used Daedric now, but instead, I just give the armour to followers.
Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
I used to wear heavy armour, then I wore light armour (both are at level 50-60 now)
I preferred heavy, but I started wearing the thieves guild armour because it worked better at the time, now I'm wearing the jester clothes you can obtain in a dark brotherhood quest. Why? you ask, because it's fun (zero defence value isn't very good, and I don't use the skills since I'm only doing public assassinations as of late...)

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
Daedric Armour for the win! Heacy armour is extremely good when you have a perk where all worn heavy armour weighs nothing. Then you can have extremely good armour that dosn't weigh anything.

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
Does that perk affect the rate at which your stamina is drained too?
Light armour has the benefit of faster stamina regen, and a small chance to avoid all damage from a melee attack. Heavy armour reduces fall damage, and has a small chance to reflect all melee damage back to the attacker. Heavy armour has a higher maximum armour rating too, but as it is possible to give even a single piece of light armour an armour rating of over one thousand, that difference is hardly noticed when you are at a high level.

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
I don't think heavy armour changes your stamina. It just slows you down by .00000001, I think. If it does effect your stamina, I can't tell because my armour is enchanted to increase stamina.

Re: Skyrim: Disscuss it here!
not sure if this is a glitch or not, but I was going to the throat of the world (the part where you have to use the clear skies shout) and I found an Ivarstead guard for some reason, can any of you confirm seeing him there?
