That a majority prefers friends over laptops does not mean that everybody does, even if it sounds ridiculous to you.

Jorgas, your post troubles me.

You should not even think about deciding what things should please people and what not. Everybody is different and you should not fed others up with the things that you like. Let others decide what they like and respect that, instead of prejudicing them and trying to change their preferences.

But on the otehr hand, your just feeding the fire for the arguement right now. As my friends on their server say, nuff' said. Also, my friend and I wantched the Panda cheese commercial again today. It's totally cool.

What the ? I'm feeding the fire for the argument? I'm trying to argue with you, but you don't understand what my point is.

The point is that everybody is different and not everybody likes the same things. If you say that preferring laptops over friends is ridiculous, then you're ignorant. I really don't care that you prefer friends over laptops, but don't fed your preferences up with others. Some people do not need friends to be happy, and some do. Let people be and let them decide for themselves which things should make them happy and which things not.

Will you guys just shut up? If Jorgas thinks that people who prefer one thing over the other are ridiculous, that's great. It wasn't some universal law he just made up, it was an opinion. If Ryiin thinks that people should be left alone with their own preferences, that's great too. And again, it was an opinion. Now just make nice, forget this arguement, and get on with your lives. This is a birthday topic!

Oh, and:
An argument is when you demand that your opponent changes his opinion, while a debate is a responsible exchange of ideas.

If you want to continue arguing, don't. Just debate.

I should have just said that I spotted an American philosophy and that I won't argue with somebody like that since that is pointless.

Anyhow, I realized there is a slight paradox here: saying that you should not fed people up with your preferences, or in other words, trying to fed somebody up with your preference (the preference that you should not fed people up with your preferences).

What I would have liked to see, is that Jorgas brought my ideas about gay people back here. My statement in this thread contradicts with my statement in the other thread.

Just for the sake of answering, I have a few friends but I'd rather update my computer to something better to use with them, than have loads of friends.

IE I'd rather be closer to my friends than have more!

It's not only this post but your previous post as well. Once again I don't want to give the impression that I hate you, only the way some English people (this includes British and American) abuse the English spelling.

I usually don't get confused by them, it's just that the occasional misspelling and my phone's auto-correct makes my their's there's and everything. (Oh, and I actually spend more time on the internet on my phone than my computer! This is because I can't really bring my computer downstairs or across town without trouble... Yay phones!)

The only reason, to be on honest, is that it's either I misspell it, or I'm half-asleep. I don't normally make mistakes when I'm fully awake.

I just dislike the difference.

Also Mobile Phones emit Radiation that should pass stright through you with no worries. Playing on your PC with wireless Internet does the same amount of damage, as does living near power cables....
