I found the 16x16 sprites to be very limited in their use, which is why I started making some 32x32 sprites to compare them, and see what would fit best:

32x32 Sprites? 32Bit

I absolutely prefer the 32x32 sprite, even though it takes longer to make one. I have already started converting my Aegi-sprites to 32x32, and gave him a weapon and a shield, things that were nearly impossible to make in 16x16:

32x32 Sprites? AegHero

His shield is a simple wooden shield, his weapon a wooden thing I have yet to name, for it is a weapon I 'invented': It mixes the sword with a shield, granting the user both defensive and offensive abilities.

My character would also be able to upgrade his equipment, by adding armour (leather first, steel later on) and upgrading the weapon and shield from wood to iron or steel. Perhaps a final upgrade would grant him Hyverium equipment, to make things even more Elithia-related.

Yeah 32x32 sprites would be better...

The only reason I said 16x16 was because my 32x32 skills aren't very good...

I will convert Gemtron and add another guy and some more info, I like the idea of the main character upgrading!

I am mid-way through respriting Gemtron, but a lack of time has been my nemesis...


I have however come up with an idea how to obtain him... You must bring a certain NPC a certain character and object!

Mabye you can find him in an Erikixan scrap yard(we were known for lots of those)
