Character Development
DO NOT SUBMIT CHARACTERS HERE, UNTIL THEY HAVE RECEIVED FEEDBACK FROM THERE OWN THREAD!
Here, we can assign personalities, backgrounds, moves, and other game based info to sprites! Turning them into Characters!
Of course nothing is set in concrete, yet...

true, but we need a plot to figure out how all the characters will fit in together. after that, we can go crazy.

Well we can start with what sort of moves each character has...

I'm thinking of having 8 characters. Does anyone agree with me? There would at least be 1 character for each species; example: one Aegi, one Notix, etc. There could also be more that one for, lets say, Erikxian?

You mean as Characters, NPC's or Avatars?
I also think your first Aegi Avatar, should be an Ingame Character! (But weak like a king in chess!)

Make Prototype,
Test,
Fix,
Test,
Fix,
Test,
Fix,
Post Online,
Wait for feedback,
Fix Bugs,
Get GM-able friends to help me fix if I cant!
Update from feedback,
Make new Prototype from previous and repeat
